LotLink for dealerships
LotLink gives your own salespeople personal websites that show your store's vehicles. Here's what that means for the dealership.
What LotLink shows
- A salesperson's own website: their name, photo and phone number, with your store's vehicles for sale.
- Your public vehicle listings: year, make, model, price, photos and VIN, as your own site shows them.
- Every vehicle links back to its page on your dealership's website.
- Questions and appointment requests from the site go to that salesperson.
Where the inventory comes from
Either a Shiftly or inventory feed, or your dealership's public website. Website inventory is read by LotLinkBot, which reads only stores whose salespeople use LotLink, obeys robots.txt, makes one request at a time, and never tries to get past CAPTCHAs or blocks. Each store is read once a day around 5 AM Eastern, with a light midday check to take sold vehicles off.
Paying for your team
A dealership can pay for its whole team, billed per salesperson each month, with a dealer dashboard to add salespeople and see team activity: leads, response times, appointments and sold. Managers see counts and activity, not customers' names or numbers.
Questions, or want us to stop?
